Returns Made Simple
At Lavender Blu Threads, we want you to feel confident shopping with us and truly love what arrives at your doorstep. If something isn’t quite right, eligible returns may be approved for a full refund, store credit (issued as a digital gift card with no expiration), or an exchange, giving you the flexibility to choose the option that works best for you. Exchanges are subject to inventory availability.
Because we’re a small boutique carrying limited inventory and thoughtfully curated collections, we kindly ask that all returns and exchanges follow the guidelines below.
Final Sale & Non-Returnable Items
The following items are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Any item discounted 25% off or greater
- Any item marked Final Sale
- Any item within our Sale Collection
- Any permanent markdown items
No exceptions.

General Returns & Exchanges
All eligible returns or exchanges must be:
- Initiated within 7 days of delivery
- Shipped back within 4 days of return approval
To be accepted, items must arrive:
- Unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
- Free of makeup, deodorant, lotion, perfume, smoke, pet hair, or any other debris
- In original condition with all tags securely attached
⚠️ All returns undergo a full inspection upon arrival. Items that do not meet these requirements may be rejected.
Approved Exchanges
If you request an exchange:
- Your exchange item is not reserved until your original item is received and inspected
- Once approved, your exchange order will be created
Because our inventory moves quickly, if your requested exchange item sells out before your return is processed, store credit will be issued instead.
Exchange Shipping
Customers are responsible for shipping costs on all exchange orders.
Checkout+ covers your return shipping label back to us only but it does not cover outbound shipping for your exchange order.
Once your exchange is processed, you will be billed the current live shipping rate before your replacement order ships.
Checkout+ (Optional Return + Shipping Protection)
We know how much care goes into choosing your pieces, and we want you to have peace of mind from checkout to delivery.
That’s why we offer Checkout+, which is Return and Shipping Protection at checkout.
With Checkout+:
- Your return shipping label back to us is completely free
- Your package is protected if it is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit
Without Checkout+:
- Customers are responsible for purchasing their own return shipping label (often $9+)
- Lost, stolen, or damaged packages must be handled directly through the shipping carrier
Checkout+ must be purchased at checkout and cannot be added retroactively.

Damaged & Defective Items
We want your order to be perfect every time.
If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, claims must be submitted through our Return Portal within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Clear photos of the issue
- A short description of the damage
Items must remain:
- Unworn
- Unwashed
- With original tags attached
Once received and inspected, store credit will be issued.
The following do not qualify as damage:
- Color variations due to monitor settings
- Lighting differences
- Photography lens distortion
- Variations in print or pattern
Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Packages
We package every order with so much care, wishing we could hand-deliver each piece straight to your doorstep đź’Ś
Once your package has been scanned by the shipping carrier, it is officially in their hands.
If Checkout+ was purchased:
Please submit your claim through our Portal here.
Our team will investigate the claim on your behalf.
Approved claims are eligible for:
- An exact item replacement (if available), or
- Store credit if the item is sold out
We never issue refunds for lost, missing, or stolen packages.
Claims must be submitted within:
- 14 business days of marked delivery, or
- 14 business days of the last tracking update

If Checkout+ was not purchased:
Any lost, delayed, damaged, or stolen package claims must be submitted directly through the shipping carrier.
Lavender Blu Threads is not responsible for carrier errors, delays, or delivery issues without Checkout+.
We’re always happy to provide supporting documentation if needed.

Carrier Claims & Voiding of Package Protection
Checkout+ protection is designed so our team can handle claims on your behalf.
If a customer opens:
- A USPS missing mail search
- A carrier claim
- A reimbursement request
- A payment dispute related to shipping
Before contacting us or submitting through our protection portal, Checkout+ coverage for that shipment is automatically voided.
The customer will then be responsible for working directly with the carrier until that investigation is resolved.

Incorrect Addresses, Delivery Errors & Theft
Customers are responsible for ensuring all shipping information entered at checkout is accurate.
Lavender Blu Threads is not responsible for packages that are:
- Delivered to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer
- Returned to sender due to address errors
- Lost due to incorrect address information
- Stolen after confirmed delivery
Packages affected by these circumstances are not eligible for refunds.
If a package is returned to us due to an address issue, reshipment may be requested once received back, but additional shipping fees will apply.
No Cancellations
Orders begin processing immediately and cannot be canceled, changed, or held once placed.
